TYPE OF ACTIVITY: Training course/ International seminar

THEME: Training course for Youth workers in the field of International Programs of EU, mainly addressed to organizations that work with youngsters with fewer opportunities (rural areas, disabled, dropouts from school, economical difficulties.)

DATES: from 19th till 25th of May

LOCATION: Malaga, Spain

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES: Youth in Action Programme Countries

PARTICIPANTS: 25-30. Youth workers, Responsible of NGO’s, Youth Associations, Youth leaders, Youth animators and Young people - representative of non formal groups who are interested in approaching the International youth activity.

FRAME OF THE PROJECT:

• Empowering and promoting the inclusion and active citizenship of Young people with fewer opportunities in the field of international youth work.
• The use of non-formal education to promote the values ​​of the European Union and the Youth in Action Programme.
• Fostering intercultural dialogue and appreciation of diversity.
• The cooperation between organizations working on social inclusion in the European youth field.

OBJECTIVES:

• Form in differnet techniques of International dynamization, mainly oriented on Social inclusion.
• European dimension in the youth projects.
• Intercultural dimension.
• Team building techniques.
• Conflict solving.
• Planning of International projects.
• Project financing.
• Partnership building.

COSTS: 70% of travel costs and 100% food and accommodation will be covered by Youth in Action program according to 2013 User´s Guide.

YIntro – Stepping into Youth Information

BRIEF

YIntro is the training module of ERYICA for beginners in the field of Youth Information. It covers the basic areas of knowledge and skills needed for youth information work and is meant to be an introduction to the field. It is built on 4 areas that can be delivered in five full training days or equivalent time sessions.

The module is based on the expertise of ERYICA training experts with national and international training on Youth Information and the experiences gained over the last 8 years with European “Train the Trainers” courses and national courses on the MBTC (Minimum Basic Training Course) module.

AIMS

• Aims of YIntro – Stepping into Youth Information
• Introduce the relevant areas, competences and skills of Youth Information
• Offer a basic course to newcomers to the field
• Provide coherent route to competence as a first step into Youth Information Work, which will be followed by advanced modules covering more into depths certain areas of the work field.
